Benjamin Disraeli was twice Prime Minister in the Nineteenth Century. Responsible for passing a a large amount of social legislation he was Britain's first and only Jewish Prime Minister to date. This talk covers his early life, his political career (including bitter rivalry with William Gladstone), his best-selling novels, his friendship with Queen Victoria, and why he is still so famous today.
